EMASESA experiments with sewage sludge elimination by water oxidation in supercritical state
Description: Experiment carried out by EMASESA on the design, construction, implementation and test in a pilot plant, located in the Copero Waste Water Treatment Plant. Techniques of supercritical oxidation were used in order to minimize the volume of sewage sludge. This was the result of the Research, Development and Innovation project called “Oxidación Supercrítica en Agua para el Tratamiento de Lodos de depuradora” (Supercritical water oxidation of sewage sludge) (OSCAR).
